Cleveland is still coming down off its high from hosting the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions. For one glorious weekend, the city buzzed with the collective energy of rock’s biggest names. But even after the final encore played and the last limo rolled out of town, Cleveland didn’t take a nap. This city rocked before and it will continue to do so, at grit-fueled clubs scattered all over town. When North Coasters want to cheer on the best local, regional and national acts, they head to the Beachland Ballroom, Grog Shop, Agora and Peabody’s. Filling in the gaps are smaller clubs like the Winchester, Phantasy and Brothers Lounge.
